About Alex Glass: Alex Glass is a dynamic New York City-based composer, pianist, improviser, and educator. A recent graduate of the Mannes School of Music at the New School, Alex has honed his skills in both classical and jazz piano, with a particular flair for newly written works. He’s an experienced concert organizer and a dedicated music educator. At Barsky Gallery, Alex’s mission is to cultivate a space where everyone can explore, engage, and contribute to intentional, open-minded music-making. He aims to foster a community united by the shared joy of art, creating an atmosphere of vibrant collaboration.
